These individuals must have HR expertise. Despite having an effective HR department, the department does not bear all responsibilities of the organization in human resource ma nagement. Regardless of employees jobs, they partake in some responsibilities of an effective human resource management. For instance, employees can provide a good input for performance appraisal of their supervisors and colleagues (Jackson et. al 36). However, the most significant role of employees is assessing their values and needs, and managing their careers in accordance with their input in performance appraisal. Other roles of employees in the HR Triad include applying for promotions an d transfers, attending training in the selection process, and informing line managers of forms of disabilities that may require accommodation in the organization. The IBM Company upholds respect for its employees, implementing policies like the Open Door policy, the Speak Up program, and carrying out unconstipated comprehensive Employees Opinion Surveys. IBMs commitment in improving the well-being of its human capital has gained the company a respected reputation in HRM passim the world. The success of the company in the management of its human resource results from creative and continuous research and implementation of innovative programs that improve professional and social experiences of all employees. No single wing of the HR Triad is responsible for the effective management of human resources in IBM, or any other organization for that affaire
